5 easy hair tutorials

Most of the time, you’ll find me with my hair down, straightened and parted to the side. It’s effortless and doesn’t require much primping so I wear it like this often. But ocassionally, I like to experiment with different styles too. I loathe anything too complicated or fussy and I’m very much a novice when it comes to styling, so my experimentations are all limited to styles I can accomplish with very little effort. And that’s what this post is all about.

All of the following have been tested and thumbs-upped by me. Give them a try if you’re looking for some super easy hair ideas.

1.) The Perfect Ponytail

You will rarely, if ever,  see me in a ponytail, but when I do it, this simple trick is a huge help. It creates that bit of oomph without any product or teasing. Genius!

2.) Bouncy Hair with a Straightener

Perfect for straight or wavy-haired girls who crave a little curl and bounce (particularly at the ends).

3.) 1- Minute Hairstyles

The twisty side ponytail is a favorite. It’s cute and versatile. Sometimes, I even like to twist the ponytail into a side bun. Although you can’t see the twist in the back, you can view the variation I did in this blog post just to get an idea.

4.) No-Heat Curls

If you need a break from heat tools or if you’re just a spaz with the curling iron (that’s me!), then this one is for you. This technique allows curls to hold in place for hours without using massive, if any, amounts of product. Plus, all the work is being done while you sleep overnight. Love that!

5.) 4 Cute Hairstyles

A few fresh and youthful hairstyles. I think the last one is especially adorable and funky.
