adventures in weekending: memorial day bbq

Follow these steps (in no particular order) to ensure you have a delightful Memorial weekend barbecue:

Have a water balloon fight.
Eat.  Go for seconds.
Wear your coolest shades.
Splash water in people’s eyes.
Have a 3 year-old take your picture.
Take a nap before (or during) bbq festivities for a quick refresher.  Barbecues are no joke.

And do it all over again the next day, if possible.

How was your weekend?  Anyone bring in the unofficial start to summer with some fun in the sun?

Glad all of you liked the first photo. I was quite proud of it! I chalk it up to lucky timing!

Anait – I hear ya! It was so hot, I was itching to take a dip in the kiddie pool myself.

Lena – That sounds great! A part of me wishes I would have just been lazy like you and John. I feel exhausted from the weekend! Don't you wish we could have like a post-Memorial Day holiday? Now that would be a real treat!
